So far I have travelled to the following countries –
India, Bhutan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Macau, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, USA, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ireland, England, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Myanmar
My first real international trip (apart from that quick hop into Bhutan) was to Malaysia for work when I was 22 years old. I realized then that my idea of travel was different than that of most people, because while the others were looking for biryani and fried rice I was the one trying out tofu and rendang.
I then relocated to Indonesia in 2005 and that completely changed my life.
In 2008 I went on my first self-financed international trip and that was on a 10-month long Round The World trip that covered most of the countries that I have listed above. Read more about this trip here, and check out the pictures here.
I then returned to India in 2009 and since then worked in Bangalore till March 2011.
In 2010 I took a month off to explore Sri Lanka and Myanmar, with a couple of quick stops in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2011 I’m departing on another long RTW journey. Check back for updates!
